Good news for you Bendy and the Ink Machine fans! With February 10th marking the two-year anniversary of the original game, Mike Mood of Joey Drew Studios (the publisher behind the original game, and also the name of the company within the storyline) has dropped a little something that hints at a sequel.
The teaser, which features Joey Drew’s voice, has the character talking about how 1931 will be “an amazing year”, with talk of growth and hiring of talent. Of course, this is all done in-character, but once you reach the end of the teaser, you get the sense that the real-life Joey Drew Studios is doing something that involves Bendy.
Mood had stated in an interview with Newsweek that “Bendy will return”, although it’s unclear as to what form that would be. Be it sequel or prequel, or another game set in the previous game’s universe.
Stay tuned, as the teaser says.
Bendy and the Ink Machine was originally released back in 2017 on Steam, and was subsequently ported to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch in recent years.
